Amp Pico
I have SamSung LCD tv LNT5271FX/XAA and I have no picture but sound is good, Ive read its the tcon board .?
Ive read its the tcon board . I jumped it with a wire to no avail , and tried a 1 ohm resistor ,which a 1 amp pico fuse is needed , I just don’t have 1 at the moment and need to order it . My question is , when I reconnect the busted fuse it gets really hot . I want to order another TCon but I don’t know if it will get hot and ruin the new board that’s why Im trying the fuse 1st( I also tried a jumper wire and it didn’t work ,just got hot).Would it b a fix with the new board or do I need to chk something else The tvs 4-5 yrs .serial # AK2VCS PAA00255K version ss03. any help would be appreciated I did chk the forums but Im wondering about burning the board.Thanks.
Quite honestly your tv is about at the end of it’s life. The capacitors in the are rated for 5000 hrs or 3-5 yr’s. Your lucky I sold this model 4yrs ago and have seen them come as soon as 2yrs ago. Replacing the fuse or capacitor might not do it, as the capacitor is supposed to suppress the electric current and if has gone bad your board could be fried.
