Bar Tie
Help understanding what’s wrong with my Dodge Durango, please?
With every little bump in the road I can hear like metal squeaking or rubbing together and sounds like an old squeaky bed! It’s only in the front of the truck I hear it but it sounds really bad! I have taken it in recently for new front breaks and also had a new arm bar, tie rods, shocks! What else could it be? Getting ready to take a road trip in 2 weeks and so far no mechanic can tell me what it is!
It’s so loud you can hear it with music playin in the truck!
Found out that the bushings just needed to be greased up they were just dry! Sounds good as new!
for sure ball joints, as a mechanic i change lots of them for that same reason, squeaky noise when ever going over small bumps………expect to pay lots for them……….
